TabTrade Overview - The Good and the Catch

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker this new, the breadth is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.

Pair that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
